David Skibbins, Ph.D., CPCC
David Skibbins, Ph.D. had been doing clinical supervision for ten years before he discovered coaching. He mentored and launched many psychotherapists into thriving practices, and over the twenty years that he was a therapist he supervised hundreds of interns and licensed professionals in the mental health field.
"Once I discovered coaching, I couldn't stay in the therapy field any longer," he admits happily. "Coaching was much too delicious and exciting!"
He soon found that his skills as a supervisor were needed in this profession, also. He became a supervisor at Coaches Training Institute. Soon certified coaches were calling him and asking for supervision. He began his first supervision group for certified coaches in 2001.
His unique blend of warmth, humor, compassion and precise, focused insight make him an excellent guide for experienced coaches.
